At Pepperlane, we’re building a platform to help moms launch and grow successful service businesses.
We provide a supportive community, online and in-person events, and step-by-step training to help moms build independent businesses that fit their lives, and help them get their businesses online via our member marketplace.
Our vision is to offer a complete platform to run a successful micro-business: step-by-step guides to getting started in high-demand industries, simple, automatic lead management, and tools that provide personalized recommendations about where and how members can market their businesses to their network, Pepperlane’s audience and beyond.
We’re a small team of tech industry veterans from high-growth companies with high valuations and/or successful exits to IPO or acquisition. Most of us are also parents, and all of us have lives and interests outside of work. (Read more about our team and how we got started.)
We’re working hard to create a path to success for entrepreneurial moms because we believe in both the enormity of the mission and the untapped business opportunity.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT PHILOSOPHY
Customer needs come first
We find creative solutions and sweat the details to create a great experience for our customers.
We’re scrappy, not sloppy
We might build lightweight prototypes to validate ideas quickly, but we build lasting solutions once we’ve validated that we’re heading in the right direction.
We don’t reinvent the wheel
We focus on building the features that will differentiate us and integrate with point solutions for the rest.
We move fast, but we don’t break stuff.
That’s why we use GitHub, Travis and Heroku to create a lightweight build-test-release process that allows us to deploy with ease to our staging environment and with confidence to production.
